You'll be surprised how easy it is!
Thousands of cyclists are expected to take up the new challenge around Mt Coot-tha but thousands more will flood the streets of Brisbane on the traditional Great Brisbane Bike Ride. This year there is a new option of 20km to complement the 35km loop and 10km Family Fun Ride.

The 35 follows the Brisbane River out and back, crossing the river at the Jack Pesch Bridge, Indooroopilly , and including two rest stops along the way. The 20 "Morning Stretch" utilises the Eleanor Schonell Bridge to cross the river and includes one rest stop. See a map of the route. Riders receive a t-shirt and other merchandise at the finish.
The 10km Family Fun Ride is all bikepaths around one of the city's most scenic loops. Includes treats for the kids and giveaways for all. This page has a map showing the different options available.
It's not a race, and there are no prizes for getting there first. We'll have police, route marshals and mechanical support to help you along the way.
At the finish there'll be entertainment with 'The View From Madeleine's Couch'. Wind down (or rev up) your Bike Week celebrations with Brisbane's finest Brazilian band, there'll be something for everyone!
Anyone can complete these rides. Try it - you'll be surprised how easy cycling is.

You can enter the Great Brisbane Bike Ride on the day but will not receive merchandise or entry in the prize draws. Children under 12 may not pilot their own bike. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Family members must all enter at the same time. Children under 5 free but no free T-shirt given.
