We welcome all comers to our bike day, we are raising funds to help pay for the university school fees of some very under priviledged children living in Tibet.

The drop out rate of children after middle/high school in this region is huge due to the costs associated with tertiary education, this leads to many bright children taking a life of hard labor and perpetuating the cycle of poverty for another generation.

So with your help we are looking to sponsor between 2 and 10 children for this years university year through this event.

The circuit will be the Brisbane River Loop which is a 42 km ride; experienced riders will be riding with the pack and will be responsible for leading the way and checking up on participants.

Participants are asked to donate $20 for registration and it is hoped that with the help of a few family and friends can raise sponsorship for their participation (e.g. raise $20 from 4 friends to a total donation of $100).

We will also be running a gold coin donation breakfast BBQ after then event for participants and friends of the Tibetan Education Fund that wish to join us to celebrate Australia Day.

100% of the money we raise will be sent directly to the university in Tibet. We are a not-for-profit organsisation run by volunteers so you can be assured that all donations reach their destination without administration costs.
