SCIC 2012 Charity Bike Ride

Every year SCIC (Supporting Chemotherapy in Cooloola) run a charity bike ride to raise money for the building and running of units for people who are going through chemotherapy and other cancer treatments.

This year the bike ride will be held from 3-6 May:

  1. Day 1 - Murgon to Kilkivan
  2. Day 2 - Kilkivan to Gympie
  3. Day 3 - Gympie to Kin Kin
  4. Day 4 - Kin Kin to Tin Can Bay

Contact Colin at turner1@activ8.net.au or Marlene on 0402 286 571 to obtain an a nomination form. This is a catered ride with support vehicle, so there is a nomination fee.

There will be camping in the towns each night so you will need a sleeping bag and a tent, and a plate, knife and fork. There’s entertainment at night so come and enjoy yourself on a fun ride. The ride is approx 50 to 60km per day.

Raffle and prizes also running.
