ANPSF – Jamie Jackway Brisbane to Townsville Challenge

On Saturday 3 March 2012 a team of 30 dedicated cyclists, sea kayakers, Triathletes and Landcrew will depart Brisbane's Southbank and head north to Townsville on a gruelling 1800km journey, stopping in over 223 coastal communities.
What is special about this journey will be the team combination of Paramedics and friends working together to continue to keep the dream alive for Jamie. A number of support events are planned including mini triathlons, rides, runs and paddles in each town and along the way.
This will the major appeal for QAS Paramedic Jamie Jackway who was tragically injured in a rescue helicopter accident and is now a Quadriplegic.
