25 April 2015
Bike Week is an annual cycling festival which features a range of free events - both on and off the bike - making it the largest cycling festival in Queensland!
This celebration of cycling has been held every year since the early 1990's, and is organised by Bicycle Queensland who pedal the message of getting more people cycling more often.
Bike Week 2015 reaches its peak with the Great Brisbane Bike Ride - including the Coot-tha Challenge - on May 3.
08 August 2015
The inaugural Peaks Challenge Gold Coast promises to deliver a world-class, European-style cycling event, living up to the epic reputation of its internationally acclaimed equivalent in Victoria’s Alpine region.
On Saturday 8 August you have 12 hours to prove yourself. 235 kilometres of the Gold Coast hinterland lays ahead of you, with over 4000 vertical metres of climbing, as the course covers Mount Tamborine (via Henri Roberts Drive), Beechmont, Springbrook, Natural Bridge and Tomewin climbs.
Team Bicycle Network and Bicycle Queensland will be by your side, and with full en-route support, including food and clothing valet, we’ll take care of everything you need. But staying ahead of our Lanterne Rouge, and the 12-hour deadline, is all up to you.
Entries now open. Get in quick though, Peaks Challenge Falls Creek sold out in less than a week!
