Changes to cycling at South Bank

18 January 2012

Sidon Street and River Quay (the former boardwalk site) are once again open to cyclists. This means that cyclists now have a wider and safer route through the precinct.

Because these routes have reopened, visitors to South Bank are no longer permitted to cycle, rollerblade, rollerskate or use skateboards through the Arbour unless otherwise advised.

Speed limits in the precinct have also decreased to 10km/hr to ensure the safety of all visitors to South Bank.

For a map of approved cycle routes in the precinct, please visit the South Bank Corporation website.

South Bank Corporation would like to thank you for your cooperation with these changes. If you have any questions, please contact our Coordinator, Communications at info@south-bank.net.au.
