Accessory Number Plates
Bike-carrying racks which attach to your vehicle's towbar are a popular way of transporting a bike to the start of a ride. However, it is illegal to drive a vehicle with the rear number plate obscured. Most racks have a place to attach a smaller "accessory plate".

You just have to be the registered owner of the vehicle (PPQ check while you're speaking with them). Delivery takes 5 working days and payment by credit card may be made over the phone.
