- Bike Week, including the BDO Brisbane Coot-tha Challenge, and the Great Brisbane Bike Ride. Held in March each year.
- Cycle Queensland. pedal away from the everyday, with 9 days, 560km of cycling, 1000 friends. September 2010, Yeppoon to Bundaberg.
- 10 October 2010. The Wilson HTM Brisbane to the Gold Coast Cycle Challenge. Queenland's biggest bike ride, with almost 10,000 participants in 2009.

Bike Rides
- Sunday 22 August 2010. Redlands Classic Ride. 15km, 45km and 75km versions. Event conducted by the Rotary Club of Redlands Bayside, in conjunction with the Wynnum Redlands Cycling Club. Ride beneficiaries include the Leukaemia Foundation. Register at www.redlandsclassicride.com.au
- Ipswich Cyclocross, Sat 28 August. BQ doesn't usually list competitive events, but we just can't resist this one. Building on the success of the City CX event BQ ran in Bike Week 2009, Ipswich Cycling Club is running its first cyclocross event. See the event website for details.
- The FNQ Wilderness Bike Tour (18th-25th September) is now taking registrations. Over eight days, this 520 km ride climbs through the World Heritage rainforest-covered mountains behind Cardwell, to Blencoe Falls, the Herbert River, Innot Hot Springs, Ravenshoe, Lake Tinaroo and through to Copperlode Dam and down to Cairns. Half is on sealed roads and half on dirt roads, so this ride requires mountain bikes or touring bikes with wider tyres. See http://www.fnqbiketour.org.au/
- Saturday 25 September 2010. Gear Up Girl is coming to the Tweed Coast, supported by Tweed Shire Council and Royal Brisbane Children's Hospital. Gear Up Girl Tweed Coast is a women only recreational cycling event encouraging women of all ages and abilities shapes and sizes to get out on their bikes. 25km and 15km options, rides finish at Tweed Heads. - Ride to Worship Week, 9-15 October. Are you a cyclist who attends a place of worship? Why not cycle to your place of worship with people across Australia during the week of Saturday 9th to Friday 15th October. See the Australian Religious Response to Climate Change's website for details.
- Tour de Tamborine – Sunday 21 November 2010. The Tour de Tamborine is recognised as one of South East Queensland’s premier charity sporting events. Set amongst the tranquillity of a subtropical paradise, participants of all ages and abilities are invited to enter one of several distances in either a cycle, a run or a walk - all in aid of local charity. The event is held on Sunday 21 November and will include 50km, 25km and 5km cycle events with other distances available in the walk and run. Entries open August 2010.
