Bicycle Queensland events

29 March - 6 April. Bike Week, including the BDO Kendalls Brisbane Coot-tha Challenge, and the Great Brisbane Bike Ride.
30 August - 7 September. Cycle Queensland. 9-day cycling paradise, Bundaberg to Brisbane. 600kms of cycling, 1000 friends, fun and relaxation.
12 October. The Wilson HTM Brisbane to the Gold Coast Cycle Challenge. Queenland's biggest bike ride, with almost 6000 participants last year.

29 June - 5 July. Cairns to Karumba – Coast to Coast Bike Ride. See www.ridefnq.com.
16 November 2008. Tamborine Mountain Classic Cycle for Charity. 6 am start at Geissman Oval, North Tamborine. 10, 25 and 50km cycle on the mountain, or for an extra challenge, 50km Ride Around The Block (down, around and up the mountain). Only a $20 donation for "on the mountain" eents, $40 for the Challenge Cycle event, or gain sponsorship for every kilometre ridden. 8-20 June, 2008: Save the Children’s Vietnam Challenge!

Save the Children is giving 20 people the opportunity to fundraise $6000 each to help us continue with our important program work supporting vulnerable children, and be rewarded with an unforgettable adventure in beautiful Vietnam.

January 2009: Cycle Indonesia

A not-for-profit cycle tour to the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. 1200km, 19 riding days, 8 rest days. A$2600 (not including airfares). See http://www.cycleindonesia.com.au.
