Camping & accommodation

Where do I sleep?
Pitch your own tent in our campsite (usually just a stone's throw from the centre of the host town) and sleep under the southern stars.
For those who want a little luxury along the way, there's the Easy Campese. At each campsite, you'll have a roomy tent put up for you and be supplied with a comfy sleeping mat. The Easy Campese option is extremely limited and this year will be allocated by ballot - see the Easy Campese info sheet for more details.
If you want even more luxury, book into Pheels Phantastic for five star treatment.
Or book your own accommodation along the way (limited motel beds are available in most of the towns along the CQ10 route), refer to the Local Accommodation Options info sheet or phone the relevant tourist information centres. Any such arrangements are your own and the event organisers cannot assist further.
Pheels Phantastic Accommodation
Spoil yourself as you cycle
Why not spoil yourself as you cycle the 2010 Cycle Queensland ride. Let Pheels Phantastic transfer your luggage separately to a pre-booked motel or similar accommodation, for two nights or the whole week. Relax upon arrival, enjoy afternoon tea and, if required, the services of our masseurs or bike mechanic, all part of this pampering package.
The Pheels Phantastic mini-bus will take you to and from dinner at the Cycle Queensland campsite, or lash out in style and shout yourself to a meal at the motel or local restaurant. Oh, and don't forget the best cyclist-sized breakfast before you push on the next day.
The camaraderie experienced between riders on the Pheels Phantastic package has inspired many to return year after year. For more information about the Pheels Phantastic accommodation and luggage transfer, visit the Pheels Phantastic website.
