I strongly support the direction BQ is heading and want my skills to aid BQ's impressive growth and success with advocacy and events.

I've watched BQ under President Bill Loveday for many years when BQ was mostly run by volunteers and limited staff. I have observed Bill as President provide outstanding leadership during this exciting growth period and I want to play an active part with the BQ team to make cycling better and more acceptable on QLD roads and infrastructure.

I ride every weekend and most days. I love the social side of cycling, post-ride coffee and weekends touring. My husband and I have ridden in Portugal, USA, NZ and Canada.

Originally from Melbourne, I moved to Queensland for the weather in 1992 and Brisbane is my favourite city in the world. I started riding my old Apollo bike to prepare for the 2002 "Bundaberg to Brisbane" Cycle QLD inaugural ride and haven't stopped since, having completed three CQ rides, my favourite being Port Douglas to Mission Beach.

With my background as a Business Development Executive for a multi national organisation I will bring to the organisation the benefit of my business experience and the love of cycling.
