- Bicentennial Bikeway closed at night. A section of the bikeway, between the Merivale Rail Bridge and William Jolly Bridge, will be closed from 22 August for three weeks for geotechnical investigations. To minimise disruption, the works will be undertaken during off-peak hours (9pm-4am) Sunday to Thursday. Works will commence on 22 August 2010 and continue for approximately three weeks, weather permitting. Cyclists heading west (towards Milton) should exit at the Makerston Street ramp and follow the signage along North Quay/Coronation Drive and rejoin the bikeway at the Cribb Street underpass. Cyclists heading east (towards the city) should exit at the Cribb Street underpass and follow the signage along Coronation Drive/North Quay and rejoin the bikeway at the Makerston Street ramp. Alternatively, pedestrians and cyclists can use the Go Between Bridge, Montague Road and Kurilpa Bridge. For more information please call the project's information line on 1800 727 923 or email bikeway.projects@brisbane.qld.gov.au or alternatively call Council on (07) 3403 8888.

- South Bank. There's a detour in place at the Sidon St end of South Bank Parklands, just near the Goodwill Bridge. The details are in this PDF.
- Stage Two of the Eastern Busway diversion between Fern & O'Keefe Sts is now in place. This diversion allows construction to continue for the new busway ramp connecting the Eastern Busway to the existing South East Busway. This work will also include construction of a new section of shared cycle and pedestrian way as part of the busway project. This stage of the diversion will be in place from Tuesday 16 March 2010, for approximately six months. Cyclists and pedestrians will be diverted via a 3 metre-wide asphalt path. See this PDF for details.
