Bicycle Queensland Annual General Meeting: 2009
Bicycle Queensland's Annual General Meeting was held on 4th March and was attended by 30 members. The minutes of the meeting will be posted on the website shortly. In the interim, two of the agenda items dealt with are of particular interest to members;
1. The meeting confirmed the election of members to the Management Committee:
- President - Bill Loveday
- Vice President - Michael Hogan
- Secretary - Jenny Attreed
- Treasurer - Kym McDougall
2. A motion proposing adoption of the new Rules of Association was put to the members. A majority of 75% of the votes cast was required for the motion to be successful. Voting on the resolution was 158 votes in favour and 2 votes against, representing a majority of 98%. Consequently the motion was carried.
The new rules were ratified by the Department of Justice & Attorney General on 21 April 2009.
